Space is limited to 15 youth per lesson ( total of 30 spaces) 

​​​Welcome to the Burford Optimist site.    We are a group of committed Burford residents who volunteer our time and talents to make Burford a great place for our children and youth.  
For the past 42 years we have been supporting the Burford community through donations to children and youth organizations, Splash pad, playground, Easter egg and Breakfast with Santa and organize youth baseball. 

The Burford Optimist is part of Optimist  International.  Optimist International is recognized worldwide as the premier volunteer organization that values all children and helps them to develop to their full potential.

Thank you to everyone who came out and celebrated the Grand Opening of the new Skatepark   

The Optimist Club is so excited to be offering 2 free skateboard lessons.  

Now that we have a new skatepark we want to support youth to learn how to use it.  

Kids 10-15yrs ( we are really wanting to support girls to learn this sport and based on numbers we may split up the group into ( we will let the kids decide).

 As part of that commitment and with the opening of the new Burford Skate Park, we are pleased to offer assistance to local families in financial need by providing essential scooter or skateboard gear for their children and teens.
